Frequently asked questions

Shopping habits; engagement levels; the number of scans per day (or by the time of day);valuable geolocation data; product preferences; cross-sell opportunities; and more. Once the consumer has activated the UID (Unique Identifier) by scanning it, the brand owner is in control of the data associated with that UID. The brand owner gets the opportunity to know who the consumer is. Value-added content can be exposed based on the actual interests of the consumers themselves. And since in today’s world these interests often change, more traditional marketing can’t keep up in the same way.

The simple answer is the client, Kezzler acts only as the data processor regarding GDPR rules, and all data use and transfer is regulated through Data Processing Agreements (DPA’s). Kezzler simply collects the data and stores it on behalf of our client.
Every single time a code (UID) is scanned through the supply chain, data will be sent to Kezzler’s platform related to the product. However, due to privacy laws, data collected on consumers will require their consent.
